How To Upgrade Your Nokia Symbian 3 device to Symbian Belle

I found that it is very hard to find "How to Upgrade To Symbian Belle" and to find the phoenix software needed to Flash Your Nokia Symbian 3 device. So I thought of Blogging it and the very special thing is THIS IS MY FIRST POST IN MY FIRST BLOG.....

Nokia Symbian Belle is the latest Symbian OS... Nokia Symbian Belle Comes with the latest NOKIA 600, NOKIA 700 and NOKIA 701. However Nokia Company also has released a Beta version of Symbian Belle for Symbian 3 devices like Nokia N8, Nokia C7 Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7 and Nokia C6-01.
When searching the web, the thing I found is, in almost every posts, the contents were so confusing that even I couldn't understand and also software downloads take too much time.(Had to wait 216 seconds to get the download link, had to complete surveys) In this blog I'll show you How you can upgrade your N8 to Symbian Belle and you wont have to waste your time unnecessarily.



WHY YOU SHOULD UPGRADE TO SYMBIAN BELLE.....???
       I bought my Nokia N8 on June 2011.. In the Beginning it was interesting but after a while I got bored using it. So I thought of Selling the Phone.   I heard about Symbian Belle and thought to check that out. Now my Phone is awesome again... Now I don't have to sell my phone.

How to Upgrade To Symbian Belle.
         First of all you have to find a flashing Software. Phoenix Service Software... (very difficult to find)
But No worries. You have It here. For Free. You just have to download it

Guide..
            1. Install Phoenix Service Software to the following folder(C:\Program Files\Nokia\)
                             *Disable your virus guards.. otherwise the software wont install. Do not worry this is not a virus. After flashing your phone you can re-enable your virus guard.
            2. Copy the RM-596 file and paste into {C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\} and Copy the Belle Beta Firmware folder to your desktop
            3. Open the Phoenix Service software
            4. Go to File > Open Product > then search RM-596 by using the filter. > Select it and click Ok
            5. Connect You Phone Via USB cable in the ovi suite mode
            6. Click Flashing>Firmware Update, then leave the variant as it is selected “Product code:         0598797. Description: china_prc_dark_grey”,  click OK.
            7. Check “Dead Phone USB Flashing” and then click Options.
            8. Delete both RM596_APE_ONLY_ENO_11w15_v0.148.fpsx and RM-596_M025.44.emmc.fpsx.
            9. Change the following..[use the Belle Beta Firmware folder.]
                        

• RM-596_022.014_79.92_prd.core.fpsx  to RM-596_111.010.0606_79u_prd.core.fpsx
• RM-596_022.014_28.01_Chinese_PRC_79.92_prd.rofs2.fpsx to RM-596_111.010.0606_13.01_MEA_A_79u_prd.rofs2.fpsx
• RM-596_022.014_C01.01_PRC_79.92_prd.rofs3.fpsx to RM-596_111.010.0606_C04.01_MEA_1_79u_prd.rofs3.fpsx
• RM-596_022.014_U02.01_79.92.uda.fpsx to RM-596_111.010.0606_U07.01_79u.uda.fpsx

          10.   Click OK
          11. Click Refurbish. [ Follow every step after clicking Refurbish... You will be asked to press the power switch for about 8 seconds.. I highly advice you to hold it little longer than 8 seconds untill you phone vibrates two times.
          12. After following the instructions Phoenix will Flash Symbian Belle into your device. Then your phone will Re-start. You can see the difference of Belle when booting.
